Instructions
Perhaps this is partially one of those cheesy get-to-know-you assignments, but its also a chance for you to apply some of the principles of history that you've been introduced to. I'll give you a brown bag, here is what you need to put in it and bring to class the next day:

1. A one-paragraph history of yourself written on a piece of paper without your name anywhere on it. You can write about whatever details you want and in any style you want (stating facts, telling a story, analytical, etc). But within this paragraph you do need to break the history of your life down into periods or eras. How you do that is up to you.brown-bag.jpg

2. Two statements from someone else about you (1-2 sentences each). They don't even have to know you well. It could be something about what you're like, something you did in the past, opinions about you etc. But, again it can't contain your name anywhere on it or anyone else's name who would obviously identify you. But do put a line on there about who the person commenting is and how they know you and anything other relevant facts about them.

3. Include three non-valuable artifacts from your life (past and present). These three things should "say something about you" without having you pictured or including your name.

Other people are going to see your artifacts and written statements, so don't include anything that is private or offensive. Ultimately, when you're all done you should have a little brown bag with 6 items in it and no obvious indicator of whose stuff it is.
